Worcester Conservative Association's Young Conservatives were out campaigning with Robin Walker and Cllr Gareth Jones.
The team covered lots of ground, talked to many residents and delivered literature. The session was a great learning opportunity on grassroots politics. Our younger members were paired with an experienced canvasser on the doorstep. Our Young Conservatives then had a go at canvassing by themselves and they all did a fantastic job. Our Young Conservative membership is growing and we have another Young Conservative action day planned.
Young Conservative Ted said “It was great to join Robin on the doorstep. I now feel much more confident to go door knocking and looking forward to helping the Conservatives win the local elections in May.”
We are working really hard to elect as many Conservative Councillors across Worcester as possible. It is well known that it is only local Conservative Councillors who get the job done for their local community.
