Worcester Conservative Association members Rabyia Baig and Nida Hassan were invited to the Houses of Parliament by Worcester MP Robin Walker for the Ask Her To Stand Event.

The event was to mark 100 years since women were able to stand for parliament. The event was filled with events, exhibitions and workshops. There was plenty of information for women to learn how to stand at both a local and national level.

Rabyia Baig said "Robin Walker has always reminded me that regardless of age, faith or background you can reach your full potential in politics. Like my other Worcester Constituents I feel honored to have an excellent MP like Robin".

Nida Hassan said "It was beautiful how Ask Her To Stand brought women from all political parties and ethnic backgrounds together to empower each other".
